Bruce had been sent home, more or less, by Terry. His own son had straight up told him to go home and rest, that he and Damian would handle the patrols of the other dimension and make sure THAT Bruce was staying down, as he was told (but surely not without some force). It wasn't as though Bruce didn't have things to do in his own time and dimension anyway, a few having to do with the other, information he had to gather from the data base in hopes of getting these murders figured out and one less things on the other Bruce's plate to worry about.

So far, he had nothing. That was a disheartening feeling.

And granted, he didn't just need to research, he probably did need the rest. Damned if he was going to let that keep him from what needed to be done, however.

Other people were worse off than him right now and that was the important factor in all of this.

Glancing over the computer holo displays, Bruce noticed the warning up in the corner. A rift had been opened. Strange, only he and Tony had the capabilities in this dimension to do that, aside from Zee...

"Shouldn't be," he said. Truthfully, it's never happened, at least not yet, but he had faith his kids could find him, they had plans in case these things happened. Just in case, he sent a quick message to Addie of where he was going, a back up.

"And, uh... should you actually need one, I can get one back to you in few days. I'll need some time to acquire one or build another."

Bruce shifted his weight, folding his arms across his chest. "A hand-out, Mr Wayne?"

"Or is this your means of securing connections in every reality you visit." Which of course seemed more likely. Of course he was suspicious of it.

"I don't give hand-outs unless they're needed. You mentioned being trapped. I think we both know you'd feel more secure if you had way back should it happen again," he explained, one brow raised, and then a shrug. "And the latter. I don't do it with many dimensions, most are capable on their own with out my interference."

And that was to say, without saying, he has interfered with a few, but not without reason.

"Up to you. I can get Addison constructing a new one while I'm gone and get it back to you in a few days time. Or, might be weeks for you, depends on how time works in your dimension."

"No."

"I'll accept the one-way ticket home and handle any future complications on my own time." With his own two hands thank you very much.

Bt actually smirked at that; It's what he would have done, too. He stood, giving Ace a silent command to stay put, before placing a hand on Bruce's shoulder. He pressed the start button on the device and they were suddenly standing in another Wayne Manor, slightly different from the one before.

"And here you are." Easy as that. Worst side effect Bruce might notice would be something like jet-lag, if that.

At first glance, it looked right. They were standing on the ground floor of the two story study and library, off to one side was the large fireplace about the size of a small car, and hanging on the wall overhead was the portrait of his parents.

However, he couldn't relax or allow himself the relief of finally being home, he would need to find Dick or Alfred to question without apparent reason to compare this reality and make certain. "Give me a minute." Bruce checked the papers on his desk, Wayne business and formal invitations ... it all seemed familiar, but he also hadn't given it any thought for a long time.

Bt understood, he'd probably do the same thing. And really, it was smart to double check; especially with a lot of dimensions being almost exactly the same. So, he merely stood, taking in the differences with a silent and analytical gaze slowly around the room as Bruce did as he had to.

"Take your time."

Looking out the two story window, Bruce could see the yellow hue to Gotham city in the distance. The slight drizzle of rain against the window brought back memories ... ending the riot at Arkham Asylum, only to be transported to another dimension on his way home. He stood like this for some time, sharp eyes searching the darkness until he was satisfied.

"Like myself, I doubt you put much stock in fate or density, regardless of our associates that deal in such realms." Bruce began, though did not look back at the other man as he spoke. "But I cannot help but feel there must be some further value to be gained from this."

"Instead of being returned directly to my home, I was introduced to you."

Finally he took his eyes of his beloved city and turned towards the other man, very much the businessman. "What do you make of that? Or is there value in such things to you."

Bt had folded his arms over his chest, watching, lost in his own thoughts about the days coming, glad to have been help to one more along his journey. He'd come to the conclusion years ago that not many had the available technology he did, and any way to help, Gotham or otherwise, was worth it.

But something about Bruce seemed a bit unsettled, even now that he was obviously back home.

"Fate is what you make of it," he explained. "Do you believe there is something else for you in all this? More than meets the eye?"

Perhaps he turned this around on Bruce, but that was really point; if there was something this man was feeling he was compelled to do, Bt would not sway it with his own judgement.

"Our experiences and technology are vastly different, but not so much to put us at odds with one another." As had been his experience meeting the likes of Owlman and Ultraman.

"... If there is opportunity to help you in return, would you consider it?"

Help. Personally, Bt didn't really need it, at least not yet and not now, though if he could free up time between dimensions for his children and himself, it might be easier on everyone.

And the Bruce was helping. However, it was not Bt's place to accept the help on behalf of someone else. Another version of him or not, he'd be furious if someone did that to him.

"I cannot say I personally need it. However... there is be someone who might."

The offer was then retracted. "Thank you for delivering me home." It meant a great deal to him, even though his thanks was formal and distant. "If there becomes a need for our worlds to work together, a threat to overcome ... know that you can contact me."

Bt simply nodded the thanks off as he recalculated the numbers on the device in hand, not looking up. "We're fairly tamed for the most part, I doubt it'll happen. It's why I find myself in other dimensions helping instead."

One glance up before he pushed the button and was gone.
